COMPHORT Project

The COMPHORT project, titled "Quantum Communications with Bright Solid-State Single-Photon Emitters at Room Temperature," is funded under the Quantera Call 2023 for Applied Quantum Science as part of the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program.

COMPHORT aims to revolutionize practical free-space quantum communication. The collaboration between top-tier academic institutions and industrial leaders ensures that the project not only pushes the boundaries of quantum science but also meets practical market demands, reinforcing Europe's leadership in the global quantum technology sector.

Project Partners: Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, University of Oldenburg, Technische Universität Berlin, Sabancı University, University of Bristol, and companies Nanoplus GmbH and QLocked.

COMPHORT project kick-off meeting were held on September 6th, 2024 at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid together with all project partners.
